Yaser Abdel Said
On New Years, people usually come up with a New Years resolution. Most people say that they want to become a certain weight or want to get good grades and so on. Well, Yaser had an extremely unusual idea for his. He wanted to get rid of his two teenage daughters. On January 1, 2008, in Irving Texas, he did just what he wanted to.
Anima, 18, and Sarah, 17, were his daughters. Their father, who is known to carry a weapon around at all times, was the last person to be seen with them. He told them that they were going to get something to eat and Yaser was driving the girls there in a cab. Well, he pulled over at an Irving motel and shot them repetitively. They were shot a total of 11 times.
A great aunt of the girls wasn't as shocked as most people were when she found out that they were murdered. She told authorities that their father would beat them a lot and threatened to kill them when he found out that they had boyfriends. He was from Egypt and most of his family still lived there at the time. In Egypt, most women are considered property so their husbands can do whatever they want to them. Well, their father thought that he could do that in America with his daughters. In the oldest daughters emails, it was recorded that she said she felt like her father was going to kill her. She was eventually correct. Friends and family of the girls are still searching for this terrible man. He was last seen in Texas and is believed to be somewhere he had Egyptian ties to.
